Did you get that at the cafeteria in the lower level of the Athena in Odessa, across from the grocery? It looks familiar. We ate at that cafeteria a lot and shopped at that grocery all of the time. It's down the street from McDonald's. One of the places we stayed was around the corner from the McDonald's. The lower level there also had the pizza place were we ate pizza, but I must admit, we never ordered pizza there by ourselves, the girls always ordered it when they were with us. Not that we couldn't have, but it sure was easier if you know Russian. In the cafeteria you just have to point, and there was more variety. But once I pointed at what I thought was chicken, then got a horrible tasting fish! I couldn't eat it!

ReplyDeleteMy girls make the cabbage dish. It is really quite easy so when you get home I'll give you the recipe. Haven't tried the soup so I am no help there!
