This was SO good. Buckwheat has become our little one's favorite. We had an interesting time here. There was a man who was intoxicated that wanted to sit with us. I had no idea what he was saying, but he was pretty passionate about it. As my husband motioned to the manager, he was escorted away with his coffee. My husband is learning a second language -- charades. It has served us well!
This looks good!
ReplyDeleteWe eat a LOT of buckwheat here at home. Our girls call it "gretch'ka." (I don't know if I spelled that right, but it sounds like that when they say it.) Yes, we can get buckwheat pretty easily. I never knew it was possible.
ReplyDeleteGet as many recipes as you possibly can because if your girl is anything like ours were, she'll want Ukrainian style food when you guys first gets home. Our girls turned up their noses at American food for the longest time. Yes, ironic.
Have you tried the dumpling things? I can't remember what they are called, I loved them.
Charades. . .haha. . .works for me! Looks like great food there. Probably more healthy than western food.
